I'm the kind of craftoholic that gets supplies not with a certain project in mind, but purely because I HAVE to have it. This certainly goes for what I used for this project: Bobtail, a novelty yarn purchased over three years ago. I had no idea what to do with it untill yesterday when I crocheted it up into snowballs. Because it's never to early to start thinking about Christmas decorations.

The pattern I used is very simple, I think you can guess it, but just in case and for my own further references, here it is:

Using 3.0mm hook, make ring.
1. 6 sc in ring
2. 2sc in every sc (12)
3. *1sc in sc, 2 sc in sc* around (18)
4. sc around
5. sc around
6. sc around
7. *1sc in sc, sc2tog* around (12)
-- stuff the ball --
8. sc2tog around (6)

Cut yarn, thread through the 6 remaining stitches and pull to close the hole. Weave in the end.

Fimo Adventures!

The other day I suddenly felt the urge to make something or other out of Fimo. So I got some new colors at Pipoos and picked up some old ones at my parents house. (Which I still use for storage) And I made some charms.
I learned quite a few things; First of all, patience is key when it comes to polymer clay; I really should work on my canes; And fingerprints are so uncool!
